Frequently asked questions
Can this battery be used for engine starting?+
No. This 12V 20Ah LiFePO4 battery is designed for compatible deep-cycle applications and is not intended as an engine-starting battery.
What charger should I use?+
Use a LiFePO4-compatible charger with a 14.4–14.6 V charging profile and keep charging current at or below the published maximum of 10 A.
Can batteries be connected in series or parallel?+
Supported configurations must follow the product instructions. Use matching batteries with the same model, age and state of charge, and install suitable cabling and over-current protection.
Can it be charged below freezing?+
Do not charge below 0 °C unless the product instructions explicitly confirm an enabled low-temperature charging protection mode. The published charging range starts at 0 °C.
What are the temperature limits, terminal type and dimensions?+
The published range is 0–50 °C while charging, −20–60 °C while discharging, and 0–45 °C for storage. This model uses an M6 terminal and measures approximately 181 × 76 × 168 mm. Its published cycle-life figure is 5000+ cycles under the stated test conditions.
This was an easy upgrade an installation Electric Mobility Scooter. I have also purchased a new Lithium charger that matches the power of these five batteries and said goodbye to the old dry cell batteries and charger. Thank you GoldenMate for a more powerful and longer lasting upgrade.

Great battery for the price
I had bought one of these batteries to power 2 security cameras which are on 24hrs and my automatic gate. Initially the battery worked quite well, but after an overcast day my battery died. I have 200 watts of Harbor Freight solar panels and a 20 amp Renogy charge controller. I decided to buy another battery and hook it up in parallel. I couldn't have made a better decision. Now my bank will last 2 to 3 days in overcast weather. The other day temperature dropped well below freezing, but my battery's BMS apparently took care of all that because they still were able to charge and that only took a couple of hours.

Works great, good value
This battery is good for it's rating. I have it on a solar panel and feeds a small 12 volt water fountain. Works great.

Lightweight
Nice size for a 20Ah battery. Appears well made, 6mm bolts for the terminal. So far no complaints. I have the proper charger for the LiFePO battery but havent had it long enough to see how long it will last

Where's Waldo
Great battery for portable ham radio ops!
Exactly as in my title, I use this battery for portable ham radio ops. For the size and weight, this thing is just absolutely incredible. I feel sorry for the past generations of radio guys lugging around big hunks of lead to barely get any useful power. I looked up a random lead acid battery that would be equal to this one and it weighs three times as much. And anyone who knows about batteries knows that you will only get about 50% of the rated capacity of a lead acid battery where with a LiFePo4, you'll get much closer to the 90% mark. And the lead acid wasn't even that much cheaper!
Complete no brainer if your use case is similar to mine. For the record, I am running between 5W and 10W of transmitting power (IC-705 for the ham radio people out there), a Raspberry Pi 4 with rig control (stepped down from 12.8V to 5.3VDC with an external converter), a charging setup for an iPad that I use to communicate with the Pi, and a phone charger. Perfect amount of capacity, lightweight, very attractive price point, etc. The built in BMS is just icing on the cake.
