Will this UPS provide continuous power in the case of a power outage?
This GoldenMate UPS automatically switches to battery power when the mains supply fails. Its specified transfer time is 10 milliseconds or less, so most connected computers and networking devices continue operating without interruption.
What does the LCD display show? Can it be turned off?
The LCD display shows the "input" and "output" voltage levels and the remaining battery capacity. It remains off when the device is using utility power and illuminates during backup mode.
How long will the UPS power my systems after the power goes out?
Backup time varies with the connected load. Under the manual's standard test condition, this 2000VA/1600W model provides up to 30 minutes of backup at an 800W load and 25°C. Actual runtime varies with load, temperature, and battery condition.
Does the UPS produce beeping sounds while operating?
The device emits a beep every 10 seconds when it starts operating. Pressing a button can silence it. It continuously alerts with an alarm when the battery level drops below 25%.
Can the battery be replaced?
This GoldenMate UPS uses a built-in 51.2V 9Ah LiFePO4 battery (about 460.8Wh). It is designed for a service life of more than 10 years and normally does not need replacement during that period.
